Google has filed a patent application for Editorial Opinion in its Search results. Google is trying to bring more relevancies in its search results. Google’s Patent in 2005 indicated an importance for history of web sites. Google has determined that historical data associated with each site is an essential ingredient in developing the highest quality search results for users . And just well, things like:
• the site's inception date (date the Search Engine came to know about your site)
• Frequency of updating your site
• number of visitors over certain period of time
• number of repeat visitors
• number of times your site is bookmarked
• how often keyword density is changed
• the rate at which the site's anchor text is revised
As a step further Google gave importance to User opinion instead of complex algorithms. It is a major set back for search engine Optimization experts who are banking on keyword Phrases, Link popularity rather than content.
As a Part of this Google introduced the Bookmarking technology for search results. Once you log into google all your searches will be saved. One can Bookmark the searches, remove them, comment on them. One can Bookmark the search results for web, Images, Videos, Products.
One can also give a search on Your Bookmarked items. Google has termed it as Personalized Search. Features of Personalized search are

Google is definitely going to take as an user opinion in ranking a site. The three big factors in ranking a site in the near future could be

- User Opinion
As the days Progress it is very difficult for sites with out quality content to rank in google search results. The Phrase “Content is the King” will be the final verdict given by the users in the near term.
So My opinion for others is try to focus on Quality unique content to drive the traffic to u r web site instead of relying on Other techniques which would have void importance going on from here
